Medicent Renil - kidney tonic, as adjunctive therapy for dogs, cats and horses with Chronic Renal Failure (CRF)

Medicent Renil - kidney tonic, as adjunctive therapy for dogs, cats and horses with Chronic Renal Failure (CRF)

Chronic Renal Failure (CRF) is a slow process and develops over months or even years. It is most common in older animals and it cannot be reversed, but with early diagnosis and treatment, progression can be limited and many animals go on to live happily for years after diagnosis.
Dietary changes are neccesary and your veterinarian usually will prescribe a prescription dog/cat food, which has lower levels of protein, phosphorous, and sodium than regular food and hence reduces the workload on the kidneys. (Eg Virbac Vet Complex Renal).
