Achillea millefolium;
Bright red arterial bleedings from various organs or from wounds, cystitis with dysuria (burning sensation) and painful urination are some of the symptoms for millefolium.

Hamamelis virginiana;
Vein or varicose vein inflammation, bleedings are dark evenly-flowing or of passive (seeping) nature, multiple parenchymal hemorrhage, open sore wounds, venous stasis, and general pain with bruised feeling are characteristic features of witch hazel.

Sangostyptal® is a proven hemostatic agent in homeopathic practice. The predominant effect of both remedy components is based on the veins and capillaries and precapillary vessels at the arterial end. The combination of witch hazel and millefolium thus allows various treatments of hemorrhage, congestion of the leg veins and bladder infections in all animal species.

Sangostyptal® has been proven highly effective for the treatment of blood milk in cattle.

Likewise, injuries, epistaxis (thoroughbreds), colon and uterine bleeding, dyspnea with hemoptysis, hematuria with cystitis (especially when combined with painful dysuria) are proven indications.

In peracute and acute bleeding (Vet!!) the recommended single dose may be repeated in five to ten minute intervals. By the onset of improvement the dose can be reduced to half-hourly or hourly administration.
