Treatment of worm infections in dogs caused by Ancylostoma caninum, Ancylostoma braziliensis duty, Uncinaria stenocephala, Toxascaris leonina and Toxocara canis.

Contraindications
None.
No side effects.

Precautions
Banminth paste is non-toxic in the recommended doses. The drug may also be administered to pregnant (10 days before parturition) and lactating bitches. Puppies can be treated 10 days old, without fear for signs of intolerance.

Instructions

Dosage / Administration
Oral, once 2 cm paste per 1.kg body weight. Puppies up to 12 weeks: from the 2nd week of life worming weekly until 2-3 weeks after weaning, then every 14 days, dogs older than 12 weeks (with the exception of mature females) worming every 3 months, sexually mature females: worming on 2, 4 and 6 weeks after each estrus, lactating bitches should always be treated simultaneously with the pups, outside these periods regular treatments at intervals of 3 months are sufficient.

For the routine administration of Banminth "dog", the following treatment periods are recommended:

Puppies and juveniles:
first treatment from;


     the 10th day of life
     further treatments every 2 weeks until the age of 8 - 10 weeks
     before vaccination


Adult animals:

     at least 1 - 2 times a year

Breeding females:

     during heat
     10 days before and 10 days after parturition (together with the puppies!)

In case of infection with the roundworm, the treatment should be repeated after 2 weeks. (Medications will only affect adult roundworms, so need to be repeated to deal with any residual larvae as they mature e.g., at 2 week intervals).
