Dosage / Application only in consultation with your own Vet !
Do not use in animals less than 6 weeks.
Novacam 0.5 mg / ml oral suspension of meloxicam should not be administered to lactating or pregnant animals
The application is contraindicated in animals with heart, liver and renal disorders and clinical manifestations in cats, in which the possibility of gastrointestinal ulceration or bleeding exists.
Pre-treatment with other steroidal or nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) may result in additional or increased adverse reactions
Do not use in animals with clotting disorders proven or known individual hypersensitivity to meloxicam or any of the excipients.
Avoid use in dehydrated, hypovolemic, or hypotensive cats because of increased risk of renal toxicity.
The use of AST Novacam Oral Suspension for Cats less than 6 months of age or in aged animals may involve additional risk. If use in such animals cannot be avoided, a reduced dosage and careful clinical management is recommended.
Contains per ml suspension:
Meloxicam 0.5 mg/ml
Sodium benzoate 1.75 mg

Novacam 0.5 mg / ml oral suspension can be administered directly into the mouth or with food. On the first day of treatment, a single dose of 0.1 mg / kg body weight.
For further treatment following dosage is:
Oral administration once a day (every 24 hours) by a maintenance dose of 0.05 mg / kg body weight.
The duration of treatment depends on the clinical course of the disease. Clinical improvement is usually seen within 7 days of treatment. If after 14 days if no clinical improvement is detected, treatment should be discontinued. Contamination during use should be avoided.
