Novacam Oral Suspension for dogs (meloxicam) is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) for acute and chronic musculoskeletal disorders, inflammation and pain in dogs.

Dosage / Application only in consultation with your vet!

warning
Do not use in dogs that are lighter than 2.5 kg.
Do not use in animals less than 6 weeks.

Novacam 1.5 mg / ml oral suspension should not be administered to lactating or pregnant bitches.

The application is contraindicated in animals with heart, liver and kidney disorders and clinical manifestations in dogs, in which the possibility of gastrointestinal ulceration or bleeding exists.

Do not use in animals with clotting disorders proven or known individual hypersensitivity to meloxicam or any of the excipients.

Novacam 1.5 mg / ml oral suspension should not be administered in conjunction with other NSAIDs or glucocorticosteroids.( Pre-treatment with other steroidal or nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) may result in additional or increased adverse reactions)

Instructions

Shake the suspension well before use.
Please follow the instructions of your veterinarian exactly. (Dosage / Application only in consultation with your vet!)

Novacam 1.5 mg / ml oral suspension should be administered with food or directly into the mouth. On the first day of treatment, a single dose of 0.2 mg meloxicam / kg bodyweight is given.

For further treatment, the following dosage is:
Oral administration once a day (every 24 hours) by a maintenance dose of 0.1 mg meloxicam / kg body weight.

The duration of treatment depends on the clinical course of the disease. Clinical improvement is usually seen after 3 - 4 days of treatment

If after 10 days no clinical improvement is detected, treatment should be discontinued. Contamination during use should be avoided.
